Alright, so I have a little bit of explaining to do here. I was inspired through a Korean movie called “silenced” it’s about kids in a school for the physically challenged where they are sexually abused by their principal/teacher (I can’t remember!) the story is a real case but since the cops couldn’t prove anything someone wrote a book about the kids with the real facts and then someone else made a movie based on it. Good news is the public took things into their own hands and got the school to shut down. YAY!! So throughout the poem I’m talking about a little girl who has been abused and note that in the beginning its how others see her but the end is how she would see herself.  I hope you enjoy and please please please tell me what you think!! Comment!! XD

A Memory That Fade

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

She looks in the mirror

A reflected face

So fair her skin

So blue her gaze

She sees a smile

Of sweetest delight

That so well hides

The welling tears inside

Her hollow-dead eyes

Once told a tale

Of a girl so pure

From a memory that fade

She remembers those days

When she used to smile

She laughed and danced

Too short a while

She remembers those days

Of crayon stars and paints

The skies her heart

The moon her face

She remembers those days

Of believing someday

She would be a princess

Or fairy with grace

She remembers those days

Of knowing no doubt

That each night comes

With a brighter day light

But those days have gone

Have passed beyond reach

To a place of no hope

Nor dream to cease

She has seen the dark

The evil disguised

He shook her world

And stole her life

She looks in the mirror

A reflected face

A red-eyed monster

So black its veins
