Don't even try...

Don't even try.

I've had enough of your sympathy.

So now you long to see me,

Through eyes filled with empathy?

Well don't.

I've given up hope.

Even if you do see,

You'd break under the ice;

From unravelling the true me that you didn't see.

So don't try it.

I've given up.

So should you.

Don't even dare.

You'll lose.

You know it.

If you find empathy for me,

You wont be able to see into my eyes.

Their already glassed over;

From all those misleading sympathy.

So once again i'll say it,

Don't even try...
