He held me in his arms and whispered

"I will always be with you. I hope you find great happiness." Placing a gentle kiss on my lips he walked away. I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"John! John! Come back..." But he was too far away to hear me.

"Pocahontas! Pocahontas! Are you okay? You were talking in your sleep." I slowly opened my eyes and met his eyes looking at me with concern. John Rolfe whom I am to be married to soon, stroked my cheek and held me in his arms.

"Pocahontas don't worry, I will never leave you." I soon drifted off back to sleep. Soon the blaring of the horn was heard urging everyone to wake up. I combed my hair with my fingers and grabbed my basket.I walked along side my best friend Nakoma

"Good morning Pocahontas how did you sleep?"

"Nakoma I had the dream again."

"Pocahontas it is only normal to miss someone you loved." I didn't say anything, we walked in silence to the corn field, the rest of the Powhatan women already gathering food. I too started to fill my own basket. Nakoma paused and looked at me,

"Do you think the dream is trying to tell you something?"

"I think so, otherwise why would I have it over and over again?" She nodded her head we continued to fill our baskets then headed back to the village.

"How is your husband Nakoma?" She smiled

"He is a fine husband, strong like warrior, great provider."

"Thats good I'm so happy for you." I returned her smile and after dropping off my basket I ran to my canoe, I really need a ride. I was met by Meeko my bottomless pitt raccoon, Percy my pug, and Flit my bird. I got in and started to row off, a few feet away from shore I heard,

"Pocahontas where are you going?" I turned to look at my fiance

"John Rolfe I just need to think to myself I'll be back soon!"

"Okay I love you!" I continued to row along the river. I went to visit Grandmother Willow, after rowing my canoe to shore I hopped off and sat in front of Grandmother Willow.

"Is that my dear Pocahontas?" Her face began to form on the bark.

"Yes Grandmother Willow I came to speak with you."

"Do speak child."

"Well I had the dream again... and I was wondering what does it mean?"

"Darling listen with your heart and you will understand." I closed my eyes and felt the wind blow against my face and through my hair. I climbed the tree,

"What do you see child?"

"Clouds. Strange clouds.." I gasped

"Could it be?"

"Go and see!" I ran to my canoe paddling back to the other side of the river after rowing back to shore I ran through the woods running as fast as my legs could carry me. My heart racing fearing disappointment. I climbed a tree and my breath hitched there he was... John Smith.

"Alright men! Set up camp! We need a break from our voyage aye?" I shivered at his deep sexy voice. I wrapped my arms around myself, I looked back at the shore and he was nowhere in sight, I turned around and saw a pair of boots, looking up I saw John Smith looking down at me. I slowly stood up, he chuckled

"Spying now are we Pocahontas?"

"What are you doing back here?" he gave me a smirk

"Well I figured my men could use a break we have been out on the sea for a while now. But now I need to give my men a rest, and don't worry we are not here for gold, I know there isn't any."

John Smith's POV

I looked into her intense dark eyes, and her silky black hair billowing in the wind. My gawd she is breath taking. Neither of us said a word just staring at one another, suddenly she hugged me tight

"I missed you John Smith." I smiled into her nicely scented hair.

"I missed you too Pocahontas." She looked up at me staring at my lips my head leaned down yearning for her lips. She parted her lips, our faces centimeters away,

"Captain! Ships all tied, cargo on the shore! Men are awaiting orders sir!" I groaned as we both pulled away.

"Will I see you again?" She bit her lip

"Yes. meet me by the waterfall." She then ran off. I climbed down the tree and began to help with the camps.
