 Moribund

Time is less,

Life in total mess,

I have to leave,

But the path is steep.

What would you do?

I want to know too,

When I’ll be out of your sight,

And my skin would get tight.

When I’ll lay there,

Will you get steer?

Looking at my pale face,

As if set in a cold case.

 When my lips won’t part,

Will it feel like a tart?

Illness has taken it’s toll,

No where in my sight is now any poll.

With so much to say,

I don’t know how to repay,

With so much left to do,

I can’t help but stew.

Our love, is not enough,

This time is tough,

With every breath I take,

My life and everything is at stake.

You seemed to sense my ache,

And kept the smile for my sake,

We both wither is this pain,

Ignoring that blood stain.

You know, I am going,

I will still do time towing,

I can’t get enough of you,

And I can’t wait more for the cue.

I don’t care how this ends,

But you make sure,

That everything get tends,

And I still hope that it gets cure.

Life waits for none,

All of it is done,

You are my dream come true,

Your eyes of ocean blue.

I want to see them forever,

Until the last breath I take,

You are like my tether,

Your arms floating me like in some lake.

I want to be there,

Just there in that moment,

Enfold me nearer,

Hide me in your arms,

In your heart.

All we fear is the fear itself,

Not the death, the journey itself,

With the tides that rise and fall,

We have to do nothing but to stand tall.
