So there she stood. Blankly starring at the ball of light that shimmerd before her. It was barely alive. Barely flickering. But she was still scared. It was the one thing that had made her beleive that she could win, they could win. But now, all that was taken away from her with in a few seconds.
"Lydia, It's okay. We can still do this. We're all here for you." Damen said.
She looked to her left, where her friends stood. Then to her rihgt, where her family stood. Then she truned around to look at all the people she had never meet before, but were willing to stand by her as she leed them victory.
But then it struck her. Could she let them do that? Could she stop them from doing that? She knew the answer.
As she took Damen's hand she whispered "I know it will all be okay. I'm ready to go win back my kingdom."
