Chapter Seven

I don't know how long I was asleep

because the room was pitch black.

The red lights were the only thing

close to warmth in this prison.

The floor was cold.  I couldn't 

see a thing.  But I could hear

everything.  Creaking, rattling,

screaming, and everything in

between.  I stayed still and 

cried quietly in what I thought

was the corner.
