Halcyon Days (Naruto Fan Fic)

Prologue:

One day at the Konoha Hospital the Head of the Uchiha Clan and his sons waited anxiously in the waiting room.

"Onii- chan when's Oka- san coming out?" Sasuke asked not knowing the current situation.

" I don't know Sasuke. I don't know." Itachi replied.

Suddenly after Itachi replied a nurse came out through the doors.

" Are you Mr. Fugaku of the Uchiha Clan?" the nurse questioned.

" Yes, I am." he replied in a monotone voice. On the inside he was burning with anxiety for the news.

"Congratulations, sir! You have a healthy baby girl." the nurse said cheerfully.

Fugaku thought to himself. ' A girl?' The thought put a small frown on his face but barely noticeable. As for Itachi a wide grin, and Sasuke a BIG confused face.

" A baby sister." Itachi said with pride in his voice.

" A sister?" Sasuke questioned.

"  Yeah, Sasuke a baby sister." Itachi replied.

 The nurse had lead them down the hall to the room of Mikoto Uchiha. As they entered the room a soft murmur was heard. Followed by a course of wailing. With every step they took towards the room the wailing got louder and louder, not because of their approach but, because the girl wailed as loud as she could.

They took a peak into the room to see Mikoto holding the girl tiredly to her. Mikoto was trying her best to calm the girl down but didn't succeed. She tried cooing to her but that didn't work. Rocking her softly back and forth but it didn't work either. Quietly Sasuke took his hand from Itachi's and walked toward his mother. He carefuly studied the girl in his mom's arms. The wailing increased ten-fold as Sasuke approached. Sasuke stopped in his tracks to notice that his advance was causing the poor girl to wail. Itachi noticing this to went closer to little girl. Instead of wailing louder the girl started murmuring instead. Itachi gently took the girl from his mother's arms and, into his. He cooed gently to her until she stopped murmuring. Slowly the murmuring stopped and her breathing became even.

'She's asleep.' Itachi thought to himself as he put the girl back into his mother's embrace.

Hey you guys sorry that i haven't been uploading 'Just a Memory'  i had 'visions' about this story and started drawing pics for it then started writing some chaps for it. Hopefully you like it!
