The Breaking Point

After so long, there's a point
When you can't go no more.
When they all knock you down so you
Can't stand what you're fighting for.

A point that makes you want
To leave everything behind.
Just pack up, run away,
Leaving them nothing to find.

After all the bashing,
There's only so much I can take.
At this point,
I could honestly break.

You fuss at me because you know
I won't say anything back,
And I regret it so much
I let myself become like that.

For others like me,
That let people poke and pry,
I will only let you do it so long
Before I draw a line.

I've let this go on too long.
I can't keep letting it be ignored.
I'm at my breaking point.
I can't do this no more.
