Prologue

"I could have never imagined it would end like this" I thought to myself as I watch the glowing match fall into the small metal trash can.

I took a breath. "I never thought it would be him, after all this time."

But as I facing him, right here and now I cannot turn back and walk away knowing that he has it, he has the antidote. After all that I went through trying to reach this point, I still can't suppress the vile felling inside of me, the one that just want to let him go, just want to be in his arms safe and protected. But I should know better, I should know that this person in front of me now is not the person that I once trusted and loved. Still love.

Therefore, with that thought in mind, I took aim.

"I can't" I whispered brokenly

"I know, you are weak." A cruel voice replied

I dropped my gun watched as the glass cylinder I have devoted my existence to drift down into the waiting flames.

Then, dagger in hand, he lunged at me and I let it pierce right through my heart.
