Say Sorry

The word "sorry" has been overused as the years, decades, centuries and millennium came along. Not everyone means them when the word comes out of their mouth. Not everyone really cares.

Not for the one with the broken heart. Not for the one that was betrayed. Not for the one with broken trust. Then why do people say it in the first place?

What's the point in saying "sorry" when people don't really mean it? If people don't actually care about the heart that has been wounded, about the trust that was shattered, about the bond that was broken? What's the point?

Is it because to cause more damage? Knowing that the person knows that the other person doesn't actually mean it will not receive the apology that they need will only hurt them even more. Is it because that the other person is too far gone into the depth of revenge that there is no way of turning back?

Whatever the reason. Say sorry.

Whatever the reason may be, say sorry to the one that have been hurt. You never know when you'll see them last. And if that does happen, the guilt will forever stay in your heart.

Say sorry while you still can. Before it's too late.
