Pulling my hoody down to my eyes i walked briskily on the school corridor. .

Damn this rain. .

Im so late now. .

I called Zeke a while ago telling him that im going to be late onour calculus. .

He said he'll cover for me anyway. .

I peeked to the glass door. .

' oh no thier starting. .'

i saw Zeke. .

' look here Zeke. . Look here please. . '

And he did. .

He motioned me to wait. .

I saw him excused himself and hurried to the door. .

" you are so late and youre soaking wet. . " he scolded me. .

" i know ok. . " i said before sneezing

" geez go home now Skye. . " he said

" what? I cant. . " i protested

" what?go home noe so you can rest. . Do you want to be sick during exams? " he said while arching his brow. .

I sighed. .

Point taken. .

" ok just emaik me of the new topics or homework ok. . " i said

" ok and Skye. . Please take a cab. . Ok?" he said

i just nodded. .

I feel really sick anyway. .

I keep on sneezing and coughing. .

Damn rain. .

I went home directly afterwards. .

I changed to my boxers and loose shirt and tucked myself under the thermal blanket. .

Im dozing off when my phone rang. .

" hello? " i said in a sick voice

" Skye whats wrobg with you? " asked Reign on the other line

" i think im sick. . Whyd you call? " i asked her

" im heading to the hospital Skye. . "

" what? What happen,are you ok? " i panic

she laugh. .

" course im fine im just gonna visit mom ok. . And ill be sleeping with her tonight. . "

Well if you guys notice. . Our mom is a volunteer nurse. .

Located in the province. .

" what? Who's with you?dont you have classes?" i said

" hey chill ok its just for four days. . And besides its for a project. . Documentary something. . So im excuse. . Im with my group mates. . " she said

now i understand. .

" ok. .Take care. . Is Renz with you? " i asked. .

I admit ill be more assured if Renz is with her

" ah yeah he threatens one of my groupmates to trade places with him. . Stupid boy. . " she said

i can imagine her rolling her eyeballs. .

I heard Renz shouting on the background. .

I laugh. .

" take care ok. . Tell Renz i said hi. . " i said then ended the call
