"The Fearsome Fivesome"
The mother is tall and lanky,
her nose stretches out like a finger,
and her hair looks like shredded tires,
and she has a parrot like voice.
But worst of all is her bad temper,
which is the family's trademark.
Not to mention how she treats people
in a nasty manner, and she's very snobby.
She doesn't even whisper when she gossips.
She'll talk rudely about her
neighbors as if they can't
hear her squawking.
She has no empathy,
She practically thinks it's a disease,
Imagine how she treats her own mother.
The father however is short and plump,
very small facial features
with beady eyes that glare,
and nostrils that are always outstretched.
He's also a Mr. Fix-It when he feels like it,
otherwise he's very lazy.
He's mean spirited to other people,
and he hates kids with a passion.
He'll wonder around the streets,
terrorizing the neighborhood kids for fun,
sometimes even throwing pebbles at them
when they walk by his hiding spot that is
either in a bush or behind a big tree,
waiting for a child unaware about
what awaits for them.
The daughter takes after her parents,
You've heard the "best of both"?
Well, she's the worst of both.
She's taller than the dad
But just as plump as him.
She shares in the families bad manners,
you could say she's a little terror in
training at just 12 years old.
She's god-awful to the elderly,
I suppose she takes after her mother.
She'll purposely flattening a tire of
someone's hove-around,
stomping on gardens,
making noises early in the morning,
pulling pranks like burning a bag of
dog poop on their porch,
leaving an awful stench.
One thing I forgot to mention, all the
Rinklebaums have ablutophobia which is
the fear of washing and bathing.
Only once a month will they all shower or bath,
and that doesn't exclude the grandparents which
are a disgruntled pair.
They have a love-hate relationship with each other,
and together, they're both scruffy and repulsive.
The grandmother is a blowhard, she's
bossy and demanding towards her husband
who is pitiful and dainty.
She's very disagreeable, she shoots down anything
he says, and she's quite mischievous when it comes
to proving how gullible he is.
And aside from that,
the grandfather is obedient to her,
does whatever she wants and more,
his simple minded-ness is putty in her selfish hands.
How they manage to stay together with him being dull,
and with her being a tyrant, we'll never know..
But one thing is for sure,
the town's people have had enough of them.
The police made a deal with the Rinklebaums,
as soon as their house is done being built,
they are are to leave the town and never come back
or harass anyone in the town again.
But something else will set off the quaint town's people
again with the "Fearsome Fivesome",
and there just may not be a deal next time...
(Next week I'll post up the third poem for this chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it :)
