Brick upon brick,
A tower on my shoulders.
Weighing me down,
Holding me down.
Stunting me,
Hurting me,
Crushing over my life!
It can’t be knocked down,
It can’t be shifted.
The weight is infinite.
Never ending,
Never knowing where it began.
No answers,
No resolve.
A dark cloud sits above me
I’m forever in the shadow
Of my past
The constant worry
Of my future
The torture
Of my present
Infinite
