Excerpt (Sample 2)

Another shitty day. I thought when my eyes fluttered open.

I groaned and pushed myself up from my couch.

I've been sleeping on my couch, drinking myself to sleep every fucking night in the past two days.

Just two fucking days?

Time needs to move faster!

I placed my head against the cushion behind my back and closed my eyes.

Images of Chelle crying in front of me, flood my memory. It keeps popping in my freaking mind, no matter how much I ignored it.

I let out an audible growled.

I opened my eyes with great difficulty and looked at the clock on my wall.

Six in the fucking evening.

Great!I slept the whole day.

Good thing, I worked like a fucking horse yesterday so I can take a fucking break from work today.

My phone vibrates in my pocket, bringing me out of my thoughts.

I sat up straight and ran my fingers through my hair.

My heart pounds in anticipation.

I shook my head and pulled my phone out, only to find Trey's name across the screen.

I sighed disappointedly.

Of course. There's no way Chelle will call me up.

I ignored the call and I threw my phone on the couch next to me.

I lay my head back down on the couch, staring at the ceiling.

How I dreamed, time machine exists.

Last time I wished for a time machine, I was in freaking grade school!

But for once, I wish I could turn back time to fix everything.

I might as well change the fact that she's married to Greg.

But it was just a dream and that's the way it is.

She's married!

And that's the painful reality.
