Matt’s POV

I wait for my mum to pick her phone up, Where is she? And why is she not answering me?

I try again and again but after the 4Th time she finally answers

“OH Jeez, where have you been mum?” I ask frustrated

“Hello Mattie boy” I freeze at the sound of the voice, Ryan? What is he doing with her phone?

“Where is she?” I ask coldly

“Oh, just calm down boy, she is with Andrea” he says laughing. Oh how hate that evil laugh.

“Ryan, leave her alone, I am-“he cuts me off

“What are you going do Matt? Tell your mum the truth?”

I stay silent and let him finish it off

“I think I should do that, you know, about you and my-“

“RYAN” I shout and cut him off

He laughs again even louder this time.

“Boy, you keep your mouth shut and I will keep mine, I have told you this before and I am telling you again, Marry my daughter and everyone will be happy, your mum, me, Andrea, ”

“I thought you were the one who tries to keep everyone happy, you have always kept your beautiful mum happy even after you dad-“he says

“You only want me to marry Andrea because of money” I say through my greeted teeth

He laughs again

“What money? The one I helped you achieve? Oh don’t be stupid Matt” he chuckles

“I know that’s what you want Ryan, all you want is money, money for your addiction isn’t it? The money you have isn’t enough for your use of drugs is it? You are practically selling your daughter-“

“ENOUGH, ” HE shouts and this time I smile, I know I am making him angry which I shouldn’t have done, but I am tired of having his control upon me.

“You know nothing about what I want Matt” he laughs taking me by surprise. What? He wants money doesn’t he? I know he does, he is just playing with me like always.

“You know Matt, I never thought you would be this stupid, you were the always the one who helped your father since young age, you were smart, intelligent, what happened to that boy? I thought by now, you would figure out everything but seems like your brain isn’t working since you decided to use your heart instead of your brain” He says

I know he is referring to Ana, and it makes me so angry

“What do you mean by figure everything out?” I say angrily

He laughs again before answering “Your sweet mum is calling me, I should go and make her happy”

I groan loudly and punch the wall in front of me, how dare he say that? 

“RYAN, LEAVE HER ALONE” I shout loudly as possible, with the pain that I have caused by myself on my knuckles

“OW, jeez calm down you never fail to amuse me, boy” He laughs again. He is lucky he isn’t in front of me or I would beat the shit out of him like before.

“Listen Ryan, if you try to touch my mum, I will beat the shit out of you, you remember right? The day you saw living hell, when I beat you up until you couldn’t even recognise yourself?”

He seems to taken back by my answer and I smile to that

“You need to watch your back, OH and say hi to your ANA, what an item she is” he says and cuts the phone and I am done
