I'd say remember me with laughter in my eyes
Though I know you love
To see me cry
Or think of me smiling sweet
But I know you prefer me
With trembling knees
Reminisce about our beautiful past and not the ugliness
Of the last
My memories of you will remain
fraught with love; mingled with pain
Our lies make it impossible to trust,
It will never dampen my wanton lust
Your choice to believe what is true
I have never loved someone like you
This vortex kept me spinning round;
if it stops, I'll never be found
Lost amidst clouds floating by;
Whisked away by hands of time
