She saw the world through a pair of square-rimmed glasses.

She wished she could see like everyone else.

These visions that haunted her, they blurred most sight.

They kept what she most wanted away from her.

But one day a boy removed her glasses, and for once, she could see clearly.

She finally saw the true color of his eyes, the way his hair caught the fading light.

He taught her that she never saw anything like everyone else, and she never would.

But now, the view was nice from where she was.

She tossed her glasses off the side of the world, and they watched as they fell.
