Second place

In the shadows once again
Big sister is shining
When will this ever end?
I'm always put back
In second place
I bet my parents forgot my face.
They can't see behind her awards
I know where all the love
Is pointed towards
Mom?
Dad?
Can you see me?
Or am I in her shadow, like I'll always be?
I may be second
But this time your wrong
Trust me,
I'll be the first one gone.
Once I'm gone will you finally care?
Will finally realise I was always there?
I hope you would, because can't you see?
I just wanted a little love for me.
