Third POV.

It was a dark room, a room with many windows, and just as many closed shades. There a hand full of people were typing on their own respective computers.

"No.." A raspy voice called slamming a hand on his keyboard casuing a couple keys to jump out of them and around his desk.

"Really? Really Sue? Really? That's the fifth keyboard this week!" One of his co-workers scolded to the man who had covered his face in either shame or annoyance.

"WHO CARES ABOUT THE DAMN KEYBOARD?!" Sue roared and shoved the broken keyboard off his desk onto the tiled floor.

"Sue! Will you stop!" Another co-worker yelled annoyed standing from his chair.

"ITS GONE. THE BACKUP FILES ARE GONE!" Sue slammed his arms on the desk.

Two men went to his arms to keep him from making anymore loud noises.

"Sue! Calm down. What happened?"

"Its all gone! Everything." The man said and deflated, his anger seeping away; leaving only dispair.

"What are you talking about?"

"The back up files. REI-64R. They're gone." He spoke shaking his head lowly.

"REI.. Wait. Not the CIA files.. please tell me you're kidding." The second man spoke looking down to Sue, his face showing pure disbelief.

"What do you think I was freaking out about!?" Sue roared and looked down quietly. "He's going to fire me for this, or worse."

"Damn, what server was it on? Was it just targeted or-"

"Sir! Backup server 10 is down!"

"Shit!" The man who was questioning Sue cursed angrily.

He pushed Sue back into the chair and gripped at his own hair.

"They're going t'kill us. You have t'get the CIA on the line NOW."

Kiki smiled weakly from the chair she was tied to. Her old long hair was now dirty, choppy and caked with blood in some places. Her face was swolen and bruised, her lip cut and blood was everywhere.

"I'm done. Now let him go." Kiki said, her eyes daring them to say no. It hurt her to speak. But she had to.

"..Fine. Name your place, and go with him. Though we cant promise you'll make it with the injuries you have." Dante replied, holding his hand out for something. A knife was given to him. He cut the ropes. Kiki had gone through beatings, being hit, cut and they even had a nice game of russian roulete with her.

The mafia was truly vicious.

"As long as Mace.." Kiki's eyes shut, her vision was blury and her head was spinning. "The ice cream place from b..before." Her words were just above a whisper, her voice cracking.

Dante gave a soft smile, one that seemed to trick anyone who didn't know him, to making them believe he was a sincere guy who cared.
"Alright," He snapped his fingers, "Get her brother, we're bringing them to the shop."

Kiki gave a ghost of a smile, before her head drooped down to look down. She had passed out from bloodloss. Her body coul'nt take it anymore.

Dante sighed. "Poor Mouse, if only you would have behaved."

"Kiki!" Mace yelled, running to his sister's aid, she was still passed out, her body was feeling cold. He took off his large green coat and put it on her. "What did you do to her?!" He yelled.

"We have done what she deserved." One of the mafia members said and Mace raised his hand going to smack him. He paused when a chill went down his spine.

"We're going to be dropping you off in a place where she specified right before passing out." Dante said, his eyes in an annoyed glare. He was so close to changing his mind and letting Mace rot in one of his cells. But it would be bad for he smell and the atmosphere would soffocate everyone with death.

Along with the Maggot problem.

There's always that problem.

Dante couldn't risk it.

And as much as he wanted to kill Mace with his sister, he felt like he owed it to Kitha, letting one whom she did anything for, to live. Plus he wont rat Dante out.

Mace is smarter than that.

...

Much smarter.

That's what the FBI is for.

They mobilized Kiki and Mace and the drive was in absolute silence.

Soon they arrived and all Dante did was push the two of them out of the car, landing them face first on the floor. It sped off before anyone could have a glimpse.

Mace coughed out the dirt from his mouth and picked up his feeble sister in his arms, speeding into the ice-cream parlor.

"Help!" Mace stumbled in, almost tripping over himself.

Heads turned to him, most shocked. One having an instant reaction.

"Kiki." Randoy mumbled, but in the silence it was as loud as a shout.

"Please." Mace cried quietly, the tears that were held back began to overflow and ran down his face. He fell to his knees, but held his beloved sister to his chest tightly. His green coat was beginning to soak red.

Randoy jumped up and ran to their side, snapping open his cellphone in one gesture, holding a button and holding it to his ear.

"Send Help, now," He was quiet for a moment. "Yes I'm at my day job! Now send them NOW"

The creak of the door interupted the pattern of the steady beeps of the moniter.

"Wex!" Peter called, stepping in, his eyes full of worry and concern. He stopped in the doorway, now filled with shock.

"Who're you?" Mace asked, coughing into his hand for a moment. He had broken bones in his fingers and a rib.

"...Peter White.. and you?"

"Macine Wex." Mace mumbled, turning his head to the wall.

"Where's Kiki?" Peter asked, notcing her absence, especially when he had looked for Wex and found someone else.

"...B15"

"Why would it be in the basement?" Peter began to question but then it clicked in his mind in that moment.

Tears began to well in his eyes, and it was getting hard to breathe.

"Morgue.."

"Kitha liked you, you know.. She really did.." Mace began to cry aswell, his voice quivering as the only hint.

"I'm so sorry."

"She loved both of us.."

Peter looked at Mace through teary eyes and noticed it then.

Her younger brother. One whom she cared for.. and died for.

He would protect him with his life.

One which would be used.
