She sat up groggily and stiff from sleep realizing she was in her bed, two floors up from where she was the night before with blake, she looked around the room, dawn, throwing her legs off the side of the bed she hit something

Blake was leaning against her bed with his head leaning to the side fast asleep.

His face looked so peaceful, and so vulnerable. She hopped down off her bed careful not to wake him, grabbing her blanket off her chair she spread it over him

reaching her hand in front of her to touch his peaceful face he stirred and she pulled back her hand before he woke up and accused her of being a molester.

She sighed and went to her closet, after picking out something to wear she went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

Returning to her bedroom in fresh cloths the blanket she had put over Blake was folded on her bed, Jess walked over to her bed and there was a note, picking it up she sat on the edge of her bed and read it:

Jess,

sorry I had to run out, my mom called and she needed help putting up new cabinets. Ill call you later,

Blake

She put the note down with a smile and headed down stairs to the kitchen.

Jessica's mother was in the kitchen making breakfast, she turned around when she heard Jess drag her feet into the kitchen

"Morning sunshine" she exclaimed "how you feeling?"

"I've been better"

Jess wondered if her mother knew that Blake spent the night on her floor or if he snuck up there.

"Mom, I think I'm going to make a trip to the library today."

"But sweetie your still sick, I don't think that's a good ide-"

"I'll be fine it's just the library" and some things on the way, she added in her head

"Okay, do you want me to dri-"

"No I can walk thanks mom" she said as she grabbed a piece of bacon and ran out of the kitchen.

Jessica ran up the stairs to grab her bag from her bedroom and the note from Blake. Coming back down the stairs she went to the front door

"See ya later mom, love you!" She yelled behind her before stepping through and closing the door behind her.

She inhaled, "fresh air" she whispered with and exhale, then she pulled out her phone and started walking, dialing Blake's number.
