To See the Stars Drabble

***MiniMasqueradePanic*** I actually started writing an actual short story from this drabble on my own profile so go check it out!****

"I can't believe we're actually doing this." Seventeen year old Karter Johnston yelled over to her twin brother, Kase, as he climbed the side of their old middle school.

"Come on Karter, we always used to say how we would camp out up here and watch the stars as our birthday present to each other." Kase stated to his sister as he reached over the edge waiting to help her onto the roof.

Anxiety sitting in, Karter shut her eyes tightly, walked to the brick wall that stood firmly in front of her, and grabbed her best friends' hand.

***Author's Note: Hey there, I just wanted to let ya'll know that this is my very first Drabble ever so I wasn't really sure how it was going to come out.
