So... You, yeah you, whoever reading this, I want to share my taste in music with you!
So I basicly decided to write a list of my favourite bands etc. So lets begin!
My top 10 metal bands
10. Metallica
So, the reason why Metallica is so low on the list is that they only did 4 thrash metal albums, and if I'm going to be serious was everything after that crap, if you don't count Death Magnetic, awesome album
Best album: Master Of Puppets (1986)
Best Song: The Day That Never Comes (Death Magnetic, 2008)
9. Dream Theater
Best prog metal band forever!
They have really long songs but just as awesome as long!
There isn't much to tell about Dream Theater, I would just say listen and you will understand
Best Album: A Change Of Seasons (1995)
Best Song: Pull Me Under (Images And Words, 1992)
8. Rammstein
Wow, german metal is so awesome! Best thing about them would be that all of their songs have dual meanings, I find that cool
Best Album: Sehnsucht (1997)
Best Song: Amerika (Reise, Reise, 2004)
7. Van Halen
So, you might be thinking that Van Halen aren't metal but actually, they are, they actually play glam metal and whatever if they've covered The Kinks, so has Metallica
Best Album: Van Halen (1978)
Best Song: I'm The One (Van Halen, 1978)
6. Iron Maiden
I've never been a great fan of Iron Maiden but I like some of their songs
Best Album: Number Of The Beast (1982)
Best Song: Hallowed Be Thy Name (Number Of The Beast, 1982) OFC!
5. Pantera
One word: Epic
Pantera brought thrash metal to a new era in the 90's, Phil Ansemlos voice is amazing and Dimebag Darrell (RIP) was an awesome guitarist
Best Album: Cowboys From Hell (1990)
Best Song: Cemetary Gates (Cowboys From Hell, 1990)
4. Killswitch Engage
Okay, so... Maybe you got a little shock? Since they are the only Metalcore band on the list?
Whatever, I like them
Best Album: The End Of Heartache (2004)
Best Song: Rose Of Sharyn (The End Of Heartache, 2004)
3. Judas Priest
Rob Halford is the God of Heavy Metal, such an awesome voice!
Such an awesome band, will be missing them now since K.K. left and the band broke up
Best Album: British Steel (1980) or Painkiller (1990)
Best Song: Beyond The Realms Of Death (Stained Class, 1978)
2. Slayer
Released their first album in 1983 and their latest album in 2009, every single album that they've done have been trash metal albums, personally I think Slayer should be the biggest one of The Big 4
Best Album: Reign In Blood (1986)
Best Song: Angel Of Death (Reign In Blood, 1986)
1. Megadeth
Yes, just like Metallica they have done some albums that weren't thrash metal but everything Megadeth havoc done sounds epic, Rob Halford is the God Of Heavy Metal but Dave Mustaine is the God Of Music
Best Album: Rust In Peace (1990)
Best Song: A Tout Le Monde (Youthanasia, 1994)
Honorable mentions:
Aerosmith
Opeth
Anthrax
Black Sabbath
Dio
Ozzy Osbourne
