Twisted

I sit down,

And all I want to do is cry,

I want to let out all my emotions,

That are bottled up inside,

I don't know what's wrong with me,

Or why I am feeling this way,

All I know is that I need you here,

And I need you here to stay,

I don't feel like myself,

And I can't explain why,

I feel so distant and negative,

Almost all the time,

The only time I am happy,

Is when I'm with you,

I can be myself,

And not have to fake my way through,

When we're together we're one,

As apart we're two,

It breaks my heart,

But we have to stay true,

We have to stay strong,

Take the right route,

We will face tough times,

But I promise we'll pull through,

I've been holding back tears,

I can't find the right words to say,
