I live in the burdensome world,
I have to listen to my own words,
being a down-to-earth person,
happiness is so rarely,
a part of my vocabulary,
because for me it is so fleeting.
The ocean makes its music,
the wind does its dance,
someone holds me up to the sky,
I got my enthusiasm,
and I know it will last longer,
a pop song that is as substantial as a balloon,
lifts us in the same way when we sing it.
To the boulevard of broken dreams we walk,
beneath the stars we sit,
we stretch our arms wide,
as if we are embracing the wind,
this is where we touch the sacred part.
