The towers they fell,

a place turned into a Hell.

As we said our pledge

the nation on edge

knew what had gone wrong

and prepared to hear death's song.

An early goodbye,

we try not to cry

the words that they said

they knew they would soon be dead.

They all start to scream.

Is this a nightmarish dream?

The towers so tall

now start to fall.

Because of this attack,

those people can never come back.

The years have gone by

but why did they have to die?

Remember that smile

you shared for awhile.

We all remember

what happened that day in September.

The buildings went up in flames.

Now a question remains.

How do we move on

when so many we loved are gone?
