A Dream
I had a dream last night,
That'd we met in a crowd,
Surrounded by people we didn't know.
I ran towards you.
Every step I took, the more you'd disappear.
Until all that was left, a memory,
I fought to regain.
Where have you gone? You were standing here just a minute ago.
Where is your smile? I remember it so clearly.
Where is your voice? I heard it call my name.
A reality I fail to grasp,
It was just a dream.
