Part 5

Chris' POV

I walked into the house tired as hell, I walked into my room hoping to see (y/n) but she wasn't there, she probably went home, I took off my clothes then took a quick shower, I dried my skin and put on a pair of boxers I crawled into my bed then drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of giggled, as I opened my eyes I saw Royal sitting on top of me, I pulled her into me and began tickling her, her laughter was just enough to start off my day great, I picked her up, grabbed my phone and walked downstairs and into the kitchen, I kissed my moms head,

Chris-"morning mom.."

I placed Royal on the chair next to me, my mom brought the food on the table and we began eating,

Chris-"what time did (y/n) leave?"

Joyce-"right after you did..why?"

Chris-"I don't know it's just weird you usually stays over.."

Joyce-"she said she had a lot of work to do.."

I got up and took my phone,

Chris-"excuse me"

I walked out into the garden and dialed her number, after a few rings she finally picked up,

You-"hello.."

I heard her sweet voice through the phone,

Chris-"why didn't you stay?"

You-"I have stuff to do.."

Chris-"stop lying you work with me what stuff do you have to do that doesn't concern me....now tell me where are you..."

You-"at the airport.."

Chris-"why are you there?"

You-" I'm going to New York.."

Chris-"when are you coming back?"

You-"I'm not coming back.."

Chris-"what do you mean?"

You-"Chris if you haven't notice I've always been there for you...and your daughter...I've done every and anything you asked me to...do you know why?"

I didn't answer her,

You-"ask me why? Chris ask me!?"

She shouted,

Chris-"why?"

You-"because I love you, not as a friend Chris more that's why I said yes to this stupid friends with benefits bullshit...but I can't do this anymore I'm leaving for me...I can't keep doing things to make you happy...I need to make me happy now..."

She said then hung up, I just stood there trying to wrap my head around what just happened.
