Chapter 6 - Wedding
"were here" he said smiling at me
"ok thanks" I said grabbing my stuff and when I looked up he was staring at me
"what?" I asked feeling uncomfortable
"nothing, anyways who's the lucky man? Huh? Huh?" he asked chuckling a bit
"ah! Shut up!" I said opening the door and getting out of the car and I had a feeling that I shouldn't do this, but of course I cant turn back now, I saw Jake standing right at the entrance looking around
"Jake!" I yelled
"Oh Alexis, Thank god, man I thought something bad happened... why are you so late?" he asked as I ran to him and he gave me a bear hug
"sorry, there were...unwanted guests" I said not wanting to tell him the truth
"I see one of them followed you here!" he said looking at the guy who had helped me
"oh! No, No, No! ... His a... a friend, he helped me" I said shocked
"I see, well shall we begin" he said taking my hand and pulling me but I wouldn't move even when I tried, but then I just couldn't do it.
"umm, Jake I don't think I can go trough with this" I said softly
"What?! NO WHY?!" he said sadly
"well first of all I miss home, I don't want to go trough this yet I want to finish school get a job have a life" I said in a whisper
"but you will have a life, with me!" he said tugging me once more
"sorry" I said and my voice cracked as a tear rolled down my eye
"give me one good explanation why!" he said angry
"Fine, I've always dreamt of my wedding I wanted a big scene I wanted rose peddles falling on me, I wanted every eye on me when I walked in, I spent years drawing my dream wedding dress even though I couldn't..." I said letting out 3 more tears
"if you want that then fine!" he said
"I'm not done..." I said wiping the tears with the back of my hand "Do you know what I wanted the most, I wanted to look to the crowd and see my Gama and Gapa watching me and wishing me the best of happiness...but that cant happen, can it?" I asked but he was quiet, I knew I had hurt him now but I couldn't help it.
"I thought so" and with that I walked away but he grabbed my wrist, I did not even look at him embarrassed for him to see all my tears
"so what? Does this mean we're over?" he asked
"you tell me" I said pulling my hand away and walked away
"Look im sorry" I heard him yell. I had no idea why he is sorry I should be sorry for what I just did. He is my boyfriend I should have not hurt him like that I wanted to go back but I couldn't because I knew if I did I would end up getting married so I walked even more until my high heels gave me blisters. I stopped at the 'welcome to Vegas' sign when I heard someone panted I looked over my shoulder to see the guy who had helped me
"hey, what are you here for" I asked
"after what I had saved you from I had to go after you, how do I know its not going to happen again" he said falling to the ground and panting I chuckled and pulled out my water bottle out of my purse and gave it to him he drank it all... finishing the bottle.
"I never got your name" I said chuckling
"Andy, Andy Andersons" he said smiling as he got off his feet
"that name suits you" I said laughing
"you know you don't sound like a girl who was just crying a moment ago... look at you your laughing" he said staring at me
"...Anyways" I said changing the subject
"so..." he said
"hey umm can you take me back home to LA?" I asked
"sure but umm... well I left the car at the wedding chapel parking lot" he said
"ARE YOU JOKING ME?" I screamed
"no" he said seriously
"fine but just to tell you I'm not walking" I said
"then what... I not going to carry you" he said
"AWE! Thanks for the offer" I said
"what I said I'm not!" he said
"I SAID THANK YOU!" I screamed
"AGH! Fine, but just to tell you this is why I don't have a girlfriend, girls want a romantic guy who can do everything, and just to tell me im not one of them" he said
"Ha-Ha your funny but carry me" I said as he walked over to me and carried me, as we walked we talked about random this like
"have you ever had a pet?" I asked
"I had a rat does that count" he smiled
"EWW!" I screamed and fell out of his hands and on the ground
"ha-ha Joking I have a pet dog named Bingo" he said picking me up again
"Bingo?" I asked
"What my brother named him" he said
