Hush, everything's alright..

"Hush" you told me "everything is going to be alright"

But i knew, deep down, that our future wasn't going to be big and bright.

I knew we weren't going to talk, but instead it will end up as a fight.

Here I am, laying on the bed with my phone right next to my ear,

From the way your talking, its obvious you had more than two cans of beer.

"There there" he continued "I aren't cheating on you, dear."

But i knew from the sound of your voice, I was developing yet another fear.

"I'll proove it" he said. "We've been dating for almost a month, dear."

But he was wrong, and i knew all along, because we have been dating for almost a year.

And i know this is going to sound pretty lame,

But i heard you say another girl's name.

You said it in a different way, you said it with much more love.

"I love you, love"

And i knew that wasn't meant for me, so i hung up on you.

Then got up and wondered, what to do...
