After a lot of deliberation I have decided to make some changes to Fiction In Color. I do this knowing I may lose some followers and supporters in the process.
Fiction in Color is dedicated to giving a voice to the people who are underrepresented in literature, comics, tv shows, and films. This includes all individuals from an ethnic background: African-American/Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, etc.
Now the part that will probably (but I hope not) lose followers.
Books featuring a white hero or heroins will not be included. (BWWM & BMWW etc.)
White characters may be SUPPORTING cast, but not main characters.
This does not in any way mean I am against those type of relationships or white people for that matter. Like I said, I aim to promote underrepresented voices.
My hope is that the writers and readers of these specific genres are understanding and continue to give support to the authors featured here.
