Hey guys, so this is just something super short but I found it kinda nice so I wanted to share. Enjoy!
They watched it go up in flames and somehow, the sight was beautiful in a way. The flames leaped and danced as they consumed, radiantly beautiful in their destruction. Fresh embers jumped and spread ever higher until the entire structure was engulfed in a blazing, explosive inferno. Then they watched as, piece by piece, it crumbled to the ground.
Not who you were
All that he once was and feared is now gone; it's ashes, grey and empty, to be blown away on the wind. He put away his past, he put away his demons. They too are ash to be blown away in the broken world.
