Once upon a time there was a girl named Antanasia.

Antanasia had many friends and a family,

But nobody really understood her,

Until the day she thought she had met her Prince Charming.

He was sweet, funny elegant and charming.

Everything she thought she had ever wanted.

Her friends laughed with him and my family loved him.

We all thought he was the one.

Then one day, they had a crowning ceremony.

They crowned her two very best friends as the new Princesses.

She didn’t think anything would change

Other than the fact that there would be

Crazy bodyguards around and they would have to wear crowns 24/7.

But that was the day they turned

Self-centered, conceited, and all-around evil.

Her Prince Charming and she were seated at the ceremony

When he saw my two best friends go up and receive their crowns.

He turned to Antanasia and jokingly said

“Where’s your crown?”

She just laughed along until his face showed nothing

But seriousness and said

“I can do much better; I have a chance with royalty,

Why waste that chance with slaves.”

And he left Antanasia sitting there for hours,

Waiting for him to come back,

Save her,

And take her to the magical place he did whenever he laughed.

But he had made his decision.

She went to her best friends,

The new Princesses;

Antanasia had comforted them through every

Break-up they went to so she thought they would do the same.

She showed up at their door,

In tears,

While everything started to sink in,

When they slammed the door in her face.

She tried calling her Prince and the Princesses,

But they had all answered the same thing,

When you can have royalty,

don’t settle for slaves.

So yeah, this actually kind of happened to me. Not the princesses/princes/slaves whole deal, but more like popularity. You see, my "friends" and I were inseperable. We were a big happy, almost, family. Until middle school cliques started setting in. My best friends became popular because of their Holister T-Shirts and Levi Jeans. I still hung out with them, after all, popularity doesn't matter. At the time, I had a boyfriend who was really, my best friend. Turns out he was using me to get with the popular girls and my best friends didn't want to see me again and be caught with someone like me. So I wrote this. This is me, pouring part of my heart out to you, readers. I really do with the rest of my unshattered heart that you do appreciate this. Comment Vote Fan Like Tweet Read my other stories?
