Lying

Fushimi POV--

I decided to walk back to my room after that. Should I have not done that? What did he mean by that? Should I go back to him? I kept asking these questions in my head. I've never really doubted myself in my decisions so I wasn't sure what to do.

I accidentally hit his old skateboard on the wall. I happened to pick it up when he ran away so now I kinda just kept it.

Sigh

MISAKI POV--

Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!

Why'd I say that?!

I knew I still loved him but I didn't want him to know that...or for myself to figure that out.

He probably thinks I'm stupid and laughed at me...

I slapped my cheeks at the thought.

Drip

Am I...crying? No way!! I don't cry! I wouldn't cry over that stupid monkey!

I walked into my apartment and plopped on the couch. My mind was filled with Saruhiko. Sniff. Why'd I have fall for a guy like him!

My eyes slowly shut.

Knock knock knock!

"Eh who the hell would be up at hour?!" I said as I stared at my clock: -3:47-

I slowly opened the heavy door while rubbing my sleepy eyes. What now?

"Misaki? Uh..sorry to wake you . I wanted to give you this, you left it." A familiar voice mumbled while handing me my beat up skateboard.

Hmm?

SARU?!

"S-Saru! Um! Th-Thanks!" I barely got out as I reached for the board.

"Misaki!!" He nearly screamed as he latched onto me with a tight grip.

"Saru! What're you doing?! Let me go!"

"What did you mean 'you can't kiss me back into loving you!'? If you love me, just tell me!"

"I don't love you!!" I yelled

He looked taken aback and a bit sad.

"...oh ok. I just...I don't know...I thought I could confirm my feelings but I guess I was wrong." Saru said in a quiet voice.

For a while there was just silence of the sleeping city.

"I was lying." I whispered. I have to admit it. I can't keep lying to myself, him, and everyone else.
