Kit, despite being born with a special gift, was abandoned by her family five years ago for being born weak, and then turned into a slave by her previous pack. Now she is taken in by the Alpha of the Fire Spark Pack's daughter and given her protection.
Beau is the human twin son of the Beta of the Fire Spark. While he and his brother are both human-wolf hybrids, Beau is more human as his brother is more wolf. The only people in the pack that are nice and care about him are his family, the Alpha, and the Alpha's family. Due to his hatred for the rest of the pack, he lives away from the pack house.
On the first day of school, they are paired up for an assignment when they discover that they are mates. Will their mate bond love prevail? Or will the pressure of life be too much for them?
