Merry Christmas!!! , you know that feeling you get when you have received a thousand chain messages which want to pass that simple Christmas greeting, yeah and now it almost feels like every time your phone buzzes you are in for another lecture from friends and relatives talking about how important Christmas is and how all of a sudden in December you are the most important person in the world. Like Sunday school didn't have that covered. Sometimes all you want for Christmas is some peace and quiet, you know the kind you see in the movies where some little white boy has the whole house to himself and can make traps to fight bad guys and basically do whatever he wants.

This x-mas vacation dad called in for the usual family meeting to decide where we were going to spend the time. Before going down to attend dad's meeting I took a detour to Afi's ,my a year older sister who is late for everything( literally I even heard that she was about thirty minutes late in my mother's womb when her birth was due.). So it was no surprise to see her standing in front of her huge dressing mirror with the ear pods booming one of those Demi Lovato tracks she loved so much while she desperately tried to find a good angle to take a selfie. Seriously though this girl needed a life, and being her younger brother wasn't exactly living either.
ELORM!! She screamed, realizing after a full minute had gone by that I was standing there desperately trying to get her attention. Annoyed she texted something on her phone and in a minute my phone beeped, only to show a text which read

"Don't you know how to knock!!! :("

I started to shout back the fact that I was standing right here and that there was no need for texting but I cut it short since I needed her support on a brilliant plan I was brewing, so instead I told her I was knocking but it seemed she couldn't here over the noise she was listening to (in the nicest way possible). She then texted back

"Next time just text :P "

Infuriated but I got straight to the point and told her that when our parents asked us where we will like to spend our vacation she should side with me that we wanted to stay back so that for long time in years our parents could have some special time alone and we for the first time in our lives since Afi is now 18, could have the whole house to ourselves. I know perfect plan right but sadly Afi wouldn't hear of it, I doubt she was even listening since the whole time I was speaking she was staring at her phone's screen , till a text popped up and she announced to me that Paa(dad) wants us down ASAP. Wait so now even dad was along with this texting thing. She dashed out of the room leaving an awe struck me in front of a mirror,a huge mirror
