if you haven't been living
under a rock you've heard
the saying
all good things must
come to an end
and although their summer
felt never ending
it ended
he biked over to johnny's house
one day as he usually would
but when he got to the house
there was a semi truck in the driveway
he kept his distance obviously
not wanting to get run over
the truck began to back up
he stood there confused
wondering what was going on
then he saw him
johnny
in the passenger seat crying
he waved at johnny
but there was no wave back
and then he was gone
his only best friend ever
had moved away
for whatever reason
he didn't know
all he knew was that he was gone
