Sorry but this isn't very horrorish but I mean it is kinda so it seemed the right topic to put it under....

The dark is slowly creeping in,
The silence as dark as night
When suddenly came a horrible scream,
That would pierce your heart.
I ran quickly, swiftly,
The screams of the girl surrounding me,
Howls of an animal joined the screams,
As I rounded the corner into a building,
I walked into the building and saw a body behind a cart.
There was no one in the room,
Just me and the body of a young girl,
A murder had happened,
I knew I had to get out fast.
But before I could turn, I heard the words,
“Murder, Murder, I like Murder,”
In a voice to make you cringe,
I felt cold metal on my bony back,
As it dug right through me and my past.
“I’m not going to kill you” the voice said,
I breathe a sigh of relief,
“I’m going to leave you to die slowly”,
“Ha Ha” the voice faded into the dark.
The blood is growing into a pool,
Dizziness is beginning to set in,
But I can’t give in to death; I wouldn’t give in to death,
The pain in my back is excruciating,
I try to crawl over to the dead girl but I can’t,
I feel the pain disappear like an extinguished spark.
I know the end is close
Because the pain is no more,
I think about the family I once had,
The ones I once loved,
The thoughts I haven’t thought in years.
My end is near,
I slowly and unwillingly let my eyelids drop,
I will join my ancestors,
Never to emerge in this painful world again,
I shed my last tears.
