Lisa Maloan finally left the office where she worked. Lisa was the haead Editor of a majo publishing company. She carried a stack of papers, her purse and her laptop.
She turned into the alley that was a shortcut to her condo. She heard a noise. She lifted her chin and walked a little faster. She didn't look behind her, knowing she wouldn't like what she saw.
She was running as fast as she could in her high heels a moment later. She heard breathing behind her. She tried to kick off her shoes, but they were tightly buckled.
She opened her mouth to scream, but nothing would come out. She kept running until she ran into a fence. She finally turned around, but couldn't see the man through the tears in her eyes.
Suddenly she saw a gun. Before she could react, the gun was raised and everything went black.
