Mark is not really happy with the teacher Amy or Peter because he kinda likes Amy but she likes Peter who is known as the school loner Mark is wondering what Amy sees in Peter and wants her for himself he has to try to get Amy alone but that would be hard with Peter around since they are all in the same grade in high school they are gonna graduate from Williams high school in Trenton,New Jersey Mark is walking home from school that day when he sees Amy and Peter driving away in Amy's blue BMW to drop Peter to his parents house Mark lives next door to Peter and wonders why Amy didn't give him a ride home also Mark decides that he would try to ask Amy at school the next day if they could talk before Peter gets there Mark arrives home a few minutes later and unlocks the door and sees a note that Greg and Paula left they are running late so try to make yourself dinner tonight we are picking up Marie Mark's twelve year old sister who goes to Youngstown Jr high in Trenton,New Jersey which is fifteen minutes away from Mark's school so Greg,Paula and Marie are on there way home as they pull into the driveway fifteen minutes later Greg and Paula ask Mark if he did his homework and tells Marie to start on hers while Paula starts dinner Mark tells his mom that his homework is finished and school was alright their is a new student named Amy Anderson Mark why don't you help me with dinner by setting the table there mom ask her daughter Marie to hurry up with her homework so they can eat dinner so Marie heads to her room and finishes her homework there Paula walks into Marie's room and tells her that dinner is ready so go wash up and come eat Marie washed up then sits next to her brother Mark they starting praying like they do every night which their dad Greg always leads they head to church every Sunday then they all head for breakfast after church every Sunday somewhere like Denny's enjoying a family breakfast after they finish they all head home as they pull into their driveway they unlock the door Mark and Marie are told to put on different clothes because they are going to talk about church that day before take a nap before lunch which their mom Paula asks her kids Mark and Marie to help with setting the table they both say yes Mark has the plates and Marie the napkins They all sit down to eat when their mom bring out their lunch the sandwiches their dad is still working so it's gonna be the three of them until dinner they all pray first then eat their sandwiches
