Tohru gets a shock

Tohru's P.O.V

I sat next to Kyo on the roof.His favorite place to go.I'm the only one he lets hang with him up here,so I feel pretty honored.We were just talking about what we plan to do after school.Kyo wants to train in his martial arts more and become just like his master.I plan to become a nurse or a doctor and help people.

"I wonder what Yuki wants to be when he grows up..."

"Yuki?Tohru are you even listening to me?"

"I'm so sorry Kyo-san! I was just thinking aloud.I guess I got distracted!I'm so sorry."

"Tohru what did I tell you about apologising?It's not necessary for you to do it all the time."

 "I know.I'm sorry"

"Tohru!!"

I hung my head.No matter what I said,I always felt like if I was messing up with Kyo.Talking to Yuki was definitely much easier.

"It's okay..but it's very rude for you to not listen to someone when they're trying to tell you something."

"I know.I'm sor..."

I stopped midword when I saw the glare Kyo was giving me.

"I mean..what were you trying to tell me?"

Kyo shook his head.

"I was asking you if you wanted to go with me to the park tomorrow. There's a fair there.I saw them setting up yesterday and I thought you might like to go."

"Oh!.." I said,a little suprised.I didn't think Kyo liked me enough to think to ask me to go somewhere with him.

"I mean you don't have to go if you don't want to. I just thought since you're a girl you might like lame stuff like that."

"Oh no! I'd love to. Thank you so much for thinking of me Kyo.That's such a nice thing for you to do."

"Oh hell.Don't get all sentimental on me now. Anyway,I'm hungry.Isn't it about time you started dinner?"

"Why,yes it is."

"We'll go after lunch time. And Tohru?"

"Yes?"

"Don't make me late."

I smiled to myself as I walked into the house.

 "Miss Honda?"

"Hi Yuki.Did you need something?"

"No. I wanted to ask you something."

"Oh.Sure.You can talk to me about anything." I told him.

"Hmm.Do you like...fairs Miss Honda?"

"I love fairs. And carnivals too.They're so fun! I wish I could go to one everyday! When my mom was alive she used to take me to them and when Hana and Uo became my friends she used to take all of us.I really miss it."

"Well in that case..would you like to go with me to the fair in the park tomorrow?" 

"Really Yuki-san?That would be so nice.I'd love to go. It'll be just like when mom was here."

 "Great.We'll meet here at the house after lunch since I have a student council meeting earlier."

"Alright. I can't wait."

"Uhh...Ms.Honda?..."

"Yes Yuki?"

"Thank you for saying yes."

 I smiled at him in return. I was so happy to be going with Yuki.He so needs to have a little fun.

As he smiled in return a thought suddenly hit me.Kyo had already asked me to go to the fair with him...and I had said yes. Tommorrow will not end well.
