Who Are You Now?

I need to ask

Who are you?

You're not the boy

That I once knew.

Those are not the eyes

In which I gazed.

Those are not the lips

That mine once grazed.

That's not the tongue

That used to speak

Words of love

In times so bleak.

Those are not the hands

That fit mine just right.

Or the arms that held

Me close and tight.

That isn't the heart

I felt beat for me.

This is not the same sun

Passing over the sea.

What happened to the promise

To never let go?

Where is the boy

That I used to know?
