I enjoyed the hell out of this book. It's an intriguing comedy, thriller, mystery, mobster kitchen sink type of book. It doesn't fit into any lane but manages to take you along for a ride. I am caught off guard all the time in the book by how the main character gets in and out of messes. This is a book you really don't want to pass up and I've harassed her many times to write urban fantasy because I'd enjoy the hell out of it. She's a talented writer and I'd be willing to read anything she wrote at this point it's that good of a book.
