Always looked for love.
Trying to find the right one.
Without judgment or criticism,
But just with an open heart.

When she thought she found that love,
It all came tumbling down.
But was quickly brought back up.
Why?
Cause he gave her a daughter.
And boy did she have his smile.
Showing her that love was still out there

This daughter will never feel the drop of tears,
Never hear the sound of her own cry,
Never question why the reflection in the mirror doesn't please him.
She'll never know what real pain is.
Never know that the same lips that once kissed her can be the same ones to easily destroy her.

But what she will do is love,
Love hard and right.
Never know what it's like for that some voice that tells her congratulations, will be the same one to never tell her "I love you" again.
