The way your brown eyes
Reflect sunlight
Like the last embers
In my dream-drenched thoughts,
Steal my breath away;
While my world drops-
Free-falling,
In slow motion.I want to read your caged mind
Drown in those sun kissed-eyes-
Piercing my heart,
Dragging me
Into a timeless vacuum,
We are both lost in.Your deep voice
Devour my words;
The way you say my name
Spacing between syllables-
Wash away the longings
Swollen in my throat.Standing so close to me
Trapped in a quicksand,
And I tremble;
The way land shifts
When the earth quakes-
Crumbling at your touch.And the way your smile lingers
Yours, locking mine
Tugging the corner of our lips;
Spontaneous combustion
Sketching mid-air,
In smoke and ashes:
Someday..Reborn
In my sleep.
