She looks so pretty standing there smiling
Little does anyone know she fell asleep crying
He looks so gorgeous standing there smiling
Little does anyone know he too fell asleep crying
Standing in silence and neither knows what to say
Because they’ve barely spoken since that day
He ended it and she didn’t know why
They had so many plans to do together now all that’s left is a painful goodbye
Five months later she finds out the truth
He said it was real but still she was being used
Her heart was broken
With all the lies spoken
She didn’t know what to say or do
Or even if he meant ‘I love you’
She tries to move on and push away the pain
But the scars still remain
She knows what goes around comes around
And everything has happened for a reason, she’s found
He sits at home kicking himself for what he’s done
He gave up her for someone else and now he has no one
Because that girl used him like he did to her
His eyes fill with tears as he thinks of all the memories and the world around him becomes a blur
He turns to her because he doesn’t know what else to do
Together they’ll help each other pull through
And even though their situations are a little different
They’ll help each other take out the dents
She may still be hurt but she cares enough to be sad
Because what happened to him was just as bad
As they help each other while they cry
They realize its their heartbreaking lullaby
