Paradise lost
It's gone forever
And at what cost
Did we destroy it together?
This great Eden
Is no more
The Elysium
We worshiped
We lost it all
It apparently wasn't worth it
And it burnt to the floor
It was better to build a world of concrete
Then to feel the earth on your feet
To know that the ground beneath us is stable
And not having to hear about earth in a fable
So don't think I'm being unreasonable
When I say I want to destroy it all
It's only because I want to make sure
That the land I once saw
Wasn't a dream
And that there's a way back into the sky
Because we drunk up the sea
And the ground is empty
So let us into Eden again
So we can ruin that too
And be as thankless as we were here
We remain untrue
And wonder why you forsake us
And don't consider us dear
Did we ruin your trust
With our corruption and lust?
Our lies fill the skies
Which is why it gets darker and dies
So open your gates
And we'll call it our new world
Fill it with temptation and snakes
Which we openly embrace
Because after all
We are nothing but demons
We encouraged the war
That destroyed all our seasons
We made the seven sins come true
And think why you didn't let us in to
Paradise
But oh well
Better to rein in hell
Then to serve in heaven
