I saw them slowly disappearing or was it I that was disappearing? Then as I was blinking I was in ______'s empty room

Sam opened the front door and there stood his older brother Kyle, bused but still smiling

Kyle was getting irritated before he went into her room her book was on the floor nothing was in the room but a single mattress and she never leaves her books on the floor.
