"So, what do you think?"

"Of what?"

"My book!"

"What do you mean 'what do I think'? It's just what you told me but on paper."

"How was my writing?"

"Fine."

"Aubrey."

"Aiden."

He stared at me until I looked away. The food came and I started eating. After a minute of ignoring Aiden's stares (he wasn't even eating), I finally caved.

"Fine. Your grammar was good, your sentence structures were good. I now understand why you drink Smart Water."

"Really?"

"No."

He made a noise. It was quick, like he made himself stop. I stifled a gasp. He had laughed. Out loud.

"Aiden."

"Aubrey."

"Laugh!"

"No."

"Oh come on, please?"

"Tell me about yourself, Aubrey. You know everything about me, I think it's only fair that you start spilling your deepest, darkest secrets." He smiled a lovely smile and I quickly told myself it was an okay smile. A normal smile. One that didn't flip my stomach.

"On one condition." I smirked. "You know what it is."
