Her heart lays idle in his hand.
Torn out without a second glance.
How could he do this?
They all said we were so in love.
So in love.
Her tattered heart, dripping the love he so deeply professed.
He drops it to the dust... afraid of the consequences.
Even though he wasn't supposed to fall,
he had.
But he couldn't let himself get broken.
So he breaks her instead.
His true muse, his true love.
Watchers wonder,
why would he go as far?
The bleeding heart, not his own.
A beacon of light.
Guiding him towards a hope,
the hope of a second chance.
And that's what makes the change.
The heart he tore from her chest.
