The future looks to be very bleak
Listen to the music's manic peak.
Divided and ruled in fear we live
All want to take and never to give
Policies are venal, cruel and weak,
The future looks to be very bleak.
The homeless and the dispossessed
Suffer great poverty and are oppressed
Shrill eugenic rhetoric aimed at the meek
Listen to the music's manic peak.
Where is the compassion? Take a peek,
Justice is playing hide and seek,
Only for the strong and not the weak,
The future looks to be very bleak.
Answers to questions we must seek
It becomes more urgent week by week,
Listen to the music's manic peak
The future will be very bleak.
